Brad Vitale Board Chair	My involvement in Waroona District High School began as a Pre-Primary student in 1996, and I continued my education at Waroona DHS through to Year 10 Graduation in 2007. As a lifelong resident of Waroona, I have a strong interest in and passion for the community serving on numerous committees and organisations including Waroona Amateur Basketball Association, Waroona Agricultural Society, St John Ambulance, Waroona Community Resource Centre, Waroona Community Car, and Waroona Aboriginal And Torres Strait Islander Corporation. I have been a member of the School Board since 2017, serving as Chair since 2020. My employment history includes 12 years in the retail industry and 6 years in the local government industry in the fields of community development, governance and corporate planning and performance. I have tertiary qualifications in Business Administration having completed a Masters of Business Administration. My interest in the school is to use my experience and support to ensure the school which provided me with incredible opportunities continues to provide opportunities to others. Schools are a crucial component of thriving communities, and we all need to do our part to ensure we have local education opportunities.

Justine Edwards-Bech Manager Corporate Services (Ex Officio)	I began working in education in 2009 in various roles working with Special Needs students and in administration. I am currently the Manager Corporate Services in our wonderful school. I believe in the importance of public education and the right of every young person to access a safe and supportive learning environment. I hope to provide an ‘operational’ perspective of the school from a finance point of view whilst drawing upon my experience having worked supporting students and teaching staff. I’m delighted to have this opportunity to contribute and serve the school community.
Joanne Evans Teaching Staff Representative	I have been teaching Early Childhood for many years. I started my career in Thornlie pre-primary then went to the Pilbara to teach in Paraburdoo and Dampier. I then moved to Waroona in 1991, where my two children both attended Waroona District High School from Kindy to Year Ten. Before returning to teaching fulltime, I was an active member of many community groups, including playgroup, P&C, and the local arts and crafts group. I am also a fully licenced wildlife carer. I have been an Early Childhood teacher at Waroona District High School since 1997. Teaching and living for in Waroona for many years, has given me the opportunity to build long term, strong relationships with families in the community, as I have had the pleasure to teach each one of their children. I am passionate about my role as a child’s first educator and providing them with an introduction to school, in a supportive, safe and engaging environment. I enjoy being on the Board of Waroona District High School, to be part of a team that strives to provide our community with a school that is always working to provide the best outcomes for our children.

Natalie Birch Parent Representative	I am an ex-student of this school having attended from years 1 – 10. I have three children; two who have completed schooling and one who is currently attending Waroona District High School. During the last eight years, I have been actively involved in the school. This includes volunteering in the canteen, sports carnivals and being a member of the school P&C along with co-ordinating the uniform shop. These roles have given me the opportunity to engage with administration staff, teachers, students and other parents which allows me to get a feel on what is needed and required to enhance the learning experience of our children. In the community, I volunteer my time helping my children’s local sporting teams. I am also a qualified hairdresser of 26 years, completing my apprenticeship in Waroona, where I have grown up. I enjoy being part of my children’s education and development. Being part of the School Board at Waroona District High School is a fantastic opportunity to enhance and make a difference to all students at the school and to not only give them a clear pathway into senior high school but also the workplace.
